Tutu/Gratitude and Daily Planner
Tutu's Moolelo (Story):
A native of North Africa, “Tutu Tafriti (meaning more beautiful than the moon) was given the
beloved name nickname of “Tutu T” (Grandmother T.” – Known for her spirit
generosity, leadership and extremely high standards, Tutu T raised 9 children and 18
grandchildren standing as a model of strength, integrity and humility.
A gifted healer, Tutu T passed on her knowledge of healing through touch and
medicinal herbs to her family and villagers. This image was sent to me because a
dear friend from Hawai’i (my home town), was said to be connected to Tutu T’s lineage and she
wanted a portrait of her which I created from a very old photograph.
